Hot Docs will run from April 28 to May 8, both in person and virtually. I’ll be covering the festival virtually again this year, and as usual, there are a lot of fantastic documentaries on display at the festival from all over the world, including features like Navalny, Million Dollar Pigeon, and The American Dream And Other Fairy Tales.
But with so many films to choose from, which might be the best ones to priotize? In this Hot Docs Curtain Raiser video, I talk with Matthew Simpson from Awesome Friday to talk about which films we’re looking forward to most at the festival, as well as some recommendations of films that I had the opportunity to see at previous festivals.
