As a member in good standing, I was privileged to vote in the 2022-2023 International Film Society Critics Association Awards proceedings, both to determine the nominees and select the winners.

The International Film Society Critics Association has announced their full slate of award winners for the 2023-2024 season. The nominees were officially announced on Twitter on February 21st 2024, and our membership of 79 critics from around the world voted on the winners.
This year, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer leads the pack with 8 wins (and 4 runner-up placements) out of its 14 nominations, but the big winner is Celine Song’s Past Lives, which picked up the award for Best Picture, Best First Feature, Best Original Screenplay, and our Exceeding One-Inch Barriers award for the film with the greatest crossover appeal to audiences regardless of what language is spoken.
