So last time I wrote one of these Patron updates I said that I was planning on keeping to a bi-weekly schedule and at the time I totally meant it. But then I went through a difficult period at the ol’ day job and then I got super sick (but not, as two tests confirmed, with COVID) so here I am playing catch up.
Since mid January I’ve been able to view and review a whole bunch of films. Netflix and Apple account for some of them, and then I was able to cover the 2021 Victoria Film Festival as well. Despite getting sick before I could really get going with the festival, I did manage to conduct an interview with filmmakers Madeleine Sims-Fewer and Dusty Mancinelli as well, which was a genuine pleasure even if I couldn’t breathe while we speaking.
As always I am ever grateful for your support. I know I say that every time but you know what? I mean it every time.
